Test updates

The Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) Instructionally Embedded (IE) model fall window closes on December 22, 2023. The DLM Instructionally Embedded Window will re-open for the spring on February 5, 2024. 

The following information is about compatible OS platforms to use for Kite^® Student Portal.  

Users have five attempts to login before their Kite^® Educator Portal account is locked.

Previously, after the fifth failed login attempt, a user could select the Forgot Password link to reset their password.

Before launching Kite^® Student Portal, please ensure that the iPad has an established internet connection. A restart of the iPad and the quit password may be required if the application opens without a connection to the internet.  

The Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) Instructionally Embedded model fall window has opened for the 2023–2024 academic year. The Instruction and Assessment Planner is used to create instructional plans and assign testlets for students.

Educators with the Teacher role should access Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) Required Test Administrator Training in the training section of Kite^® Educator Portal for the 2023–2024 school year.

We are happy to announce that the Kite^® Student Portal app and installers for the 2023 school year are now available!

1. The First Contact Survey must be completed at least 24 hours before testing.
2. Changes to the Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) profile take at least 24 hours to refresh.
3. After administering a testlet, the next testlets in the subject area may take up to 15 minutes to release.
