The Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) Assessment provides Individual Student Score Reports for students who completed the DLM alternate assessment during the 2024-2025 school year. Score reports communicate achievement within grade-level content standards to educators, parents, and others.

What is a field test? 

Kite Student Portal 
Kite^® Student Portal is the secure platform where students take Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) assessments. While in Student Portal, students cannot access unauthorized webpages or applications. 

The Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) spring assessment window opens on March 10, 2025, for Year-End model states. Please consult individual state pages on the DLM website for state-specific testing dates as testing windows vary by state. 

The Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) program is seeking middle and high school teachers of students with significant cognitive disabilities to participate in a Needs Assessment Survey on current practices and needs for teaching academics related to postsecondary opportunities.

This is a reminder for test administrators to prepare for the Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) alternate assessment spring window for the 2024–2025 academic year. Test administrators must complete the steps in the following list before administering the assessment to students:

For states participating in the Instructionally Embedded model, the Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) spring window opens on February 3, 2025. Please consult individual state pages on the DLM website for state-specific testing window dates.

The Dynamic Learning Maps^® (DLM^®) Instructionally Embedded model fall window closes on December 20, 2024. The DLM Instructionally Embedded model spring window opens on February 3, 2025. Each state may have their own state-specific opening and closing dates. Check your state’s DLM webpage.

Before launching Kite^® Student Portal, please ensure that the iPad has an established internet connection. A restart of the iPad and the quit password may be required if the application opens without a connection to the internet.
