Dr. Meagan Karvonen and Amy Clark, members of Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) staff, have recently published an article exploring what is known about the population of students with significant cognitive disabilities who are also English language learners. Dr. Karvonen and Dr. Clark analyzed data from 16 states that participated in the DLM alternate assessment during the 2016-17 academic year to improve understanding and identification of student needs.
