Ensuring Successful Test Administration

The DLM Consortium spring assessment window opens on March 11, 2024, for Year-End model states. Testing windows vary by state, so please consult individual state pages on the DLM website for the state-specific testing dates.  

The DLM Consortium spring window for the Instructionally Embedded model opened on February 5, 2024.

Reminders:

  1. The First Contact Survey for each student must be completed at least 24 hours before testing.  
  2. Changes to the Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) Profile can take at least 24 hours to refresh.  
  3. Access the Testlet Information Page (TIP) prior to administering the testlet.
  4. Gather needed materials specified in the TIP.
  5. After administering a testlet, the next testlets in the subject area may take up to 15 minutes to release. However, you may administer a testlet in another subject area.  
  6. Close out of Student Portal when you are finished with a test session.

  1. To monitor a student’s progress by subject area, select the Test Management screen in Educator Portal. The Test Progress column indicates the number of the testlet being administered and the total number of testlets available for each grade and subject area.
